Who is covered?
Every employee is covered by AES:
- Every employee for whom you pay ATP contributions
- Employees for whom you do not pay ATP contributions, i.e. voluntary or unsalaried assistants, and those employees who work less than nine hours a week
- Managers in an A/S or ApS (a limited company).
Who is not covered
- Self-employed business persons
- Spouses who are working for you.
If you are self-employed, you should cover yourself and your spouse if they work for you by using AES's voluntary social insurance.
