Payment in case of death

ATP Livslang Pension will pay a lump sum to your dependants:

• Spouse
• Common-law spouse (in this case, special rules apply). Please contact us for further information
• Children under the age of 18 or 21

Different rules apply depending on whether you have paid contributions to the ATP Livslang Pension before or after 1 January 2002.

In connection with the payment, 40% tax will be deducted for SKAT.

If you live outside Denmark

It is important for your dependants to contact ATP as we are not automatically informed about deaths that occur abroad.
