The AER pays bonuses to those trainees who have concluded and passed paid vocational education.
Work placements abroad - have your expenses paid
The AER will cover a significant portion of the expenses incurred by trainees who find work placements outside of Denmark or by employers who post their trainees abroad.

While you are a trainee, you, your employer, and your school can all obtain financial support through the AER.

  • Who must pay?
    • All employers in Denmark, private as well as public, pay into the AER so that more young people can obtain an education that alternates between practical training and a school programme.
