IT Security Specialist for the first line of defence working with some of the most critical digital systems in Denmark

In Digital Solutions, the subsection of ATP responsible for IT, data and digitalisation, we play a crucial role in digitalising Danish society. Along with testing and developing reliable solutions, we push the boundaries for what is possible with regard to digitalisation, automation, self-service solutions and user-friendliness—all for the benefit of society. 

We are currently looking for an IT Specialist to join us in Security & Identity Access Management (S&IAM), where our job is to act as the organisation’s first line of defence. Through the reliable operation of our systems, we protect our critical IT infrastructure against incoming threats, responding quickly and minimising damages in case of a potential security breach. 

As an IT Specialist, your primary tasks will include: 

  • undertaking security risk assessments of our IT systems along with structuring, developing and maintaining our IT contingency plan, which covers areas such as the crisis management plan, business continuity plan and disaster recovery plan
  • educating co-workers on the importance of IT security and regularly conducting exercises to increase the awareness of security risks and best practice
  • running simulations to test our IT contingency planning and how the organisation reacts to various security scenarios and incidents
  • ensuring continuous updating and adjustment of our IT contingency plan and IT risk management framework.

Can you keep calm in stressful situations?
We imagine that you have a relevant educational background along with practical experience in IT security and the surrounding disciplines. You manage to keep calm in stressful situations and excel at educating the organisation on matters of crisis management and IT security. 

Furthermore, you are curious, stay up to date on the newest trends in contingency planning and manage to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Finally, we expect you to be responsible and able to combine your abilities and experiences to ensure progress and the implementation of our IT contingency processes.
