Strategic Enterprise Architect – help shape the future of ATP’s technologies

Then you might be the Enterprise Architect we’re looking for.

In Digital Solutions – ATP’s division for IT, Data and Digitalisation – we play a key role in digitalising Danish society. We develop and test innovative solutions while guiding ATP’s overall technology strategy, setting new benchmarks for digitalisation in the public sector.

Right now, we’re looking for a colleague to help shape ATP’s target architecture and technology roadmap across business systems and platforms for the next 10 years. You’ll play a central role in making sure our technology is stable, efficient and resilient, supporting Denmark’s welfare system.

Your main tasks:

  • Conduct strategic technology analyses that shape ATP’s future technology direction – from platform selections and capability mapping to aligning technology with our Operating Model.
  • Drive technology portfolio management using tools such as LeanIX – and helping define and implement the technology landscape for the next 10 years of ATP’s administrative business.
  • Work on digital sovereignty, analysing how ATP navigates in an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape dominated by global tech providers.
  • Lead technology transformation in a public organisation that safeguards the stability of Danish welfare.
  • Advise and collaborate with business and IT leaders across ATP, ensuring our technology choices create coherence, efficiency and long-term value.
  • Act as a strategic partner and facilitator – connecting stakeholders, shaping direction and turning technology strategies into real organisational impact.

You are:
Your background could be technical or business-focused – what matters most is your ability to think strategically about technology and your motivation to influence how it’s used in a large, complex organisation. It’s not the years of experience, but what you can do.

You are:

  • Strategic and proactive – able to define a long-term technology roadmap and drive real change across teams.
  • Experienced in, or deeply curious about, Enterprise Architecture and its frameworks.
  • Analytical and structured – meaning that you can connect strategy, technology and business needs.
  • Curious about new methods and technologies – and eager to explore how they can strengthen ATP’s resilience and capabilities.
  • Skilled at visualising complex challenges and communicating ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative, with strong stakeholder management skills and a natural ability to build alignment.

You will be joining the Technology unit in Digital Solutions. Here, we take a strategic approach to how ATP uses technology and how solutions are built.

We’re entrepreneurial at heart and proactively test new technologies that can improve the lives of our business colleagues or enhance the citizen experience. For example, by removing phone queues with AI-powered predictions about why a citizen is calling.

We ensure architecture across vital welfare solutions and act as strategic advisors to the leadership team. In doing so, we not only set the direction for ATP’s technological journey but also raise the bar for what technology can achieve in the public sector.

You’ll become part of the Enterprise Architecture team, which currently consists of eight Enterprise Architects and a team lead. We have strong professional discussions, stay focused, and have a clear understanding of our role and responsibilities within the organisation. We drive innovation projects, and our guiding principle is balancing cost, technology and business value.
